Thirty-two-year-old federally convicted cyberstalker Luke Wenke has stated on numerous occasions over a several-year period that he hates the U.S. military, its servicemembers, and military veterans. And since he just loves to get the last word in whenever possible, I figured I’d let him speak to the world through screenshots of his social media posts expressing his hateful views.
This is just a mere sampling of Wenke’s attitude toward current and former service members, which also includes a letter describing American war veterans as “despicable.”
“Just shut up Luke”
Luke Wenke made the following post in the “Olean War Zone” Facebook group in April 2023, less than a month following his release from federal prison.
Out of respect for the commenters’ privacy, I blurred out last names. I don’t know this lady, but she was my hero for at least a solid week after I first read these. I applaud her for telling Luke Wenke the truth about himself in an intelligent and composed fashion while refusing to back down to him.

In the following exchange, Wenke compares getting tear-gassed by the National Guard at a protest in Minneapolis to military combat. He also describes blowing up a police station as the “morally correct thing to do.” Wenke appears to justify anti-police violence based on George Floyd’s murder, yet he has used the “n-word” to describe George Floyd and has expressed support for Floyd’s killer, Derek Chauvin, in numerous other posts.
Additionally, Wenke states that he would pass physical tests necessary to be accepted into the American military but that he never joined because he’s above “grunt work.” As someone who has the displeasure of knowing Wenke personally, I strongly suspect that he grossly overestimated his capabilities when saying that he thinks he could pass the military’s physical tests. But hey, maybe I’m wrong.
