In some of his letters to the court, Luke Wenke seems to enjoy acting like a crusader for the marginalized, including from a racial perspective. For example, he has claimed in several letters that he supported the causes surrounding the 2020 murder of George Floyd. In another letter, Luke Wenke urged federal judge Richard Arcara to extend leniency toward a Black fellow detainee at the Niagara County Jail.
But as some of Luke Wenke’s past words demonstrate, his humanitarian side only seems to exist when he stands to benefit from framing himself in a positive light. For example, six weeks after his release from prison in 2023, he was accused of sending his cyberstalking victim’s business partner an email titled “George Floyd is dead and that’s a good thing”.
Luke Wenke has made blatantly racist statements and used the “n-word” multiple times throughout his letters to the court, including in reference to an inmate he had interpersonal problems with. He has also aired racist views on social media, particularly when it comes to George Floyd.
I’ll let the evidence speak for itself.
