When it comes to cheap-shotting his victims, one of Luke Wenke’s go-to strategies is to “poverty shame” or make classist remarks toward/about his target.

He does this by bragging about his own alleged accomplishments and work ethic, telling “rags to riches”-style stories about how the family members who raised him supposedly never relied on public assistance (which I have my own opinions about), and attributing someone’s misfortune to personal failures and character flaws while trying to portray his dumpster fire of a life as the product of undeserved circumstance.

As the examples below demonstrate, Wenke attempts to depict his victims as lazy, greedy, incompetent, desperate, uneducated, and willing to do morally compromising things for money. Like with most things he says, I encourage anyone to take his words with a grain of salt.

I know very few people who’ve been fortunate enough to never fall on hard times. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. Moreover, the fellow victims of Wenke’s who I’ve gotten to know through our shared torment are respectable people from a wide variety of backgrounds, circumstances, and lifestyles. And we have one major thing in common: wanting to be left the fuck alone.

I was going to include examples demonstrating Wenke’s hypocrisy (namely his tendency to cry poor while poverty shaming, accusing others of a having a bad work ethic despite his own long periods of unemployment/refusal to work jobs that he thinks are beneath him, etc.), but I think it would make more sense to include these in a separate post (coming at a later date). As always, this gallery is a work in progress, because when it comes to Luke Wenke’s words, there’s always more where that came from.

Luke Wenke’s Lies v. Actual Reality

Luke Wenke is known to speculate about his victims’ financial situations without really knowing much (if anything) about what their lives are actually like. For example, Wenke has historically depicted me as a welfare-dependent prostitute, starving artist, office grunt, and “gold digger” who drinks on the job while only working part-time. He insists that I spend the remainder of my time honeytrapping wealthy men and burdening my parents.

I don’t defend myself too heavily against these allegations because in addition to them being completely untrue, my finances are none of Luke Wenke’s business. He doesn’t know how much money I make or where I live and work, and he’s never met or even spoken with my family (despite his claims to the contrary).

A federally convicted cyberstalker and repeat offender who admits that his mommy pays his bills thinks I’m a low-class leech and a tax burden. Oh well. I can live with that. I’d much rather have Wenke believe I’m destitute and perpetually stuck near rock bottom than living a fulfilling life with a lot to lose, because I think that’s precisely the mission he’d go on if he had a more accurate understanding of my reality.

Unfortunately, Luke Wenke knows my family’s address and where I was living at the time of his first cyberstalking arrest in January 2022. And he may know my mailing address, which I purposely never change regardless of where I’m living (I also don’t register to vote because Wenke is known to stalk his victims through voter registration records).

Wenke knows that I contacted the state police in that town after he threatened to go to the residence despite knowing he’s unwelcome there, and it’s the same address where my family received a notice about a certified letter that Wenke’s mother tried to send me about a month ago, roughly a week after I figured out how to block Wenke’s incessant jail calls. And he probably knows by now that I called the post office and told them that I was unwilling to receive mail from my stalker’s mother (which they were very helpful about).

But that’s all he knows about my life, which he has not been privy to the details of in many years.
