If you had the displeasure of witnessing the Facebook comment shit show that erupted after someone accused Luke Wenke of making a rape joke in early 2019 (see below) and you’re still not sure what to believe, the screenshots below contain some examples of things he has said about the topic over the years.
TRIGGER WARNING: This article contains explicit descriptions of murder, assault, and rape/sexual assault. Proceed at your own risk.
“More Than Just Stripper Stuff”
For those who don’t know about the rape joke controversy, the underlying incident leading to the aforementioned disastrous exchange of words between social media users took place in January of 2019 as Luke Wenke prepared to open the short-lived Mt. Herman Pole Dojo in Olean, New York. During an interview with the Olean Times Herald, Wenke highlighted the health benefits of pole dancing while using arguably distasteful wording to point out that “it’s more than just stripper stuff.”
Some people were sufficiently offended by the “stripper stuff” remark, and the dialogue in the comments section quickly escalated when someone accused Wenke of previously making a rape joke on social media. The back-and-forth that ensued consisted of people who sided with the accuser and others who seemed to think Wenke deserved the benefit of the doubt (or, perhaps, that the alleged joke was forgivable). It appears as though someone provided links to screenshots, but they no longer appear to be available.
Luke Wenke Asked Me to Stand Up for Him
…and the answer was a hard no. He didn’t want to discuss the details surrounding the rape joke allegation, but from my understanding, he had said that he wished someone would rape him — which, in addition to being blatantly insensitive, caused at least two survivors to feel disrespected (rightfully so, in my opinion). When I confronted Wenke about the accusations in the comments, he tried to gloss over the issue by essentially stating that the accuser had misconstrued the context of his statement or blown the matter out-of-proportion.
This conversation took place seven years ago, so I don’t recall it verbatim, but I remember suggesting that Wenke apologize for the joke and try to save face. I don’t know if it would’ve done any good in terms of attracting customers to his “pole dojo,” but at that point, I would think that most people in his shoes would at least try to do damage control. But Wenke wasn’t sorry, so he wasn’t going to say he was, and he didn’t seem to think his reaction to the situation would negatively impact his business. And that was that.
In the years since that conversation, Wenke has addressed topics surrounding rape and sexual assault in various social media posts. And, in my opinion, it does not appear as though he learned any lessons from his little pre-opening PR disaster.
Luke Wenke insists he’s not violent, but his imagination clearly is.
For someone who insists he’s not violent and that he lacks the capacity to become that way, Luke Wenke sure seems to enjoy discussing it, often in a noticeably graphic context. Wenke’s documented threats of physical harm date at least as far back as the FBI investigation leading up to his first cyberstalking case, which began in 2020, with the most recent alleged threats occurring within three days of his last arrest on December 17th.
Luke Wenke Code Talk: Taking Down “Hamas”
In addition to statements that could be reasonably perceived as death threats and/or threats of physical violence, the image gallery below contains more vaguely-worded posts which, in my opinion, allude to death and violence.
For example, in the days leading up to his December cyberstalking arrest, Wenke repeatedly referred to three of his victims — R.G. (his original cyberstalking victim), Ryan/Benjamin (his romantic obsession), and myself (Katie) — as “Hamas.” Simply put, it’s essentially a code word referencing all three of us, although the term has nothing to do with my personal beliefs (I can’t speak for the other two victims because, contrary to Wenke’s claims, I’m not closely associated with either of them).
In his “Hamas” Tweets from that time period, Wenke mentioned planned attacks against “Hamas” in the specific towns/cities that he believes R.G., Ryan, and I live in. In my admittedly non-expert opinion, that alone is sufficient enough evidence to argue that Luke Wenke was specifically targeting us with violent threats, especially because he used our full names in certain other posts that he made during his “Hamas” tantrums. But the authorities apparently feel differently, because he has not been charged in connection with these alleged death/violence threats.
In addition to mentioning his attack plans, Wenke fantasized about “beating the fucking shit out of” everyone associated with “Hamas,” which I interpreted as a threat of violence against my loved ones and friends. He also vowed, in his own words, to “make sure they are hunted down and ended” and stated his wishes for drugs to be forcibly inserted “up my cunt.”
I could go on and on with examples, but I’ll let Wenke’s own words speak for themselves.

I believe that Wenke’s use of the term “Israeli Army” is a reference to a theoretical paid assassin (i.e. a hitman).
