After being ordered to undergo involuntary mental health treatment during the spring of 2025, Luke Wenke challenged his case via the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in New York City. In doing so, he filed a motion to stay his commitment pending the outcome of his appeal, which had already been denied by the district-level just who oversaw his case. As the document below indicates, the appeals court also denied Wenke’s motion to stay.
