Luke Wenke mailed the following letter to U.S. Appeals Court judge Debra Ann Livingston in early May of 2025. In it, he:

• Expresses his discontent about the district court judge deciding his case without him present and in the absence of a court hearing

• States a “possibility” that the district court judge who committed him is planning to resign and will be replaced by one of his public defenders (at Wenke’s suggestion, of course)

• Suggests that the district court judge uses stunt doubles or actors in order to hold hearings without the real defendant present

• Falsely accuses the district court judge of using stunt doubles or actors and an all-military veteran jury in order to achieve unfair outcomes (i.e. wrongful convictions) in the federal government’s cases against Waleed, Khaled, and Adham Abughanem.

• Fifty-two-year-old Khaled Abughanem and his sons, Adham and Waleed, were convicted for their roles in the kidnapping of Khaled’s daughter (Adham and Waleed’s sister), who was taken overseas against her will with plans to force her into an arranged marriage.

• During the Abughanems’ trial, the victim testified to the brutality of the assault her own family members subjected her to, telling the court: “I thought I was going to die” while describing how her father beat her until he himself became exhausted. She was essentially held captive for a year-and-a-half before bravely risking her life to escape.

• Indicates a belief that a legal case called “Wenke v. Wenke” (presumably a family court/child custody matter) marked a milestone turning point in case law by establishing “grandparents’ rights”

• Complains about his public defenders’ salaries supposedly being funded by the U.S. District Attorney’s Office (instead of being thankful to have a literal team of free lawyers)

• Touches on his bizarre fixation with Pharaoh’s Gentlemen’s Club owner Peter Gerace (while misspelling his last name “Grazi”), was convicted of sex trafficking, drug conspiracy, bribery, and other federal charges in December 2024. Gerace appears to be awaiting sentencing.

• Proposes ideas for the next “Wenkeville” family reunion, although I’m pretty sure he’s been banned from attending the event (presumably due to his erratic/volatile behaviour, although I could be wrong)

• States his potential plans to sue the federal courthouse in Buffalo, NY for voter suppression because he wasn’t allowed to vote in the U.S presidential election while in jail

• Denies sending an email that resulted in his arrest on a probation violation charge for contacting his cyberstalking victim just six weeks after his release from federal prison in 2023

“I am happy to have received notification from legal mail from Frank Passafiume of the Buffalo Federal Public Defender’s Office informing me that my elongated case at last has made it to the Appeals Court stage. I am happy to at last have a copy of what John L. Sinatra Jr.’s signature looks like since it is legally possible, as other higher courts have informed me, that he is notarizing his own signature to announce his own resignation to allow Marianne Mariano to take his place and that it is legally possible he is changing our legal names in the courtroom without us present since his court, according to Frank Passafiume’s legal mail, made a formal court decision about me specifically without anyone present the week Pope Francis died. Niagara County Jail knows I did not go to court that week. I have also informed Senior District Judge Richard Arcara about our current state of affairs so he can save himself from his investigation due to the fact that he allegedly sleeps during trials. I am sure that you would agree that the Robert H Jackson US Courthouse is desperate for a feminist touch to things so do consider my recommendation of enforcing Marianne Mariano replacing John Sinatra as she absolutely has more experience being face to face with defendants, like me when she came here to Niagara County Jail 3 years ago to see me where I still am today. Unbelievable to hear that John Sinatra signs off on court decisions when nobody including the defendant is present and/or using his Central Casting connections to use stunt doubles in the courtroom as I hear he did it with Khaled Abughanem’s family with an all Iraq/Afghanistan war veteran jury present to convict on evidence exempt circumstance after those same veterans likely hacked their electronic devices treating the very average Abughanem Muslim family like members of Hamas. Khaled Abughanem was once here at Niagara County Jail and after a very grueling amount of time in custody his wife is still with him which speaks volumes. Remarkable to see that Pope Francis visited an Iraqi Christian church in 2021. I see why he was concerned with the question of prisoners.”
