In the following letter to the Honorable John L. Sinatra, Jr., Luke Wenke expresses his support for the Abughanems, who were convicted last year of the beating and kidnapping of a female relative. Wenke had been detained at the Orleans County Jail with 32-year-old Waleed Abughanem, and has frequently mentioned Waleed’s father, Khaled, in his letters to the court.

During the trial of 52-year-old Khaled and another one of his sons, 28-year-old Adham Abughanem (33-year-old Waleed took a plea deal), the victim testified that Khaled had threatened to kill her and bury her in the family’s backyard if she refused to enter an arranged marriage. Feeling like she had no other choice, the young woman withdrew from her studies at the University of Buffalo and quickly became a shut-him while spending nearly every moment of her life under the supervision of male family members.

The victim told the court that when she said she’d rather die than enter a forced marriage, Khaled beat her until she thought she really was going to die. She fled to Guadalajara, with her partner, but was flown back to New York by Khaled and Adham, who then force the woman to fly to Yemen.

The victim was essentially trapped in Yemen, where unmarried women are not allowed to travel alone without family members’ permission. Sixteenn months later, she finally slipped away long enough to call the FBI with a phone that had been smuggled to her by a nonprofit organisation that helps people escape forced marriages.

The case garnered widespread attention throughout Western New York, and the victim was praised for her bravery. Waleed Abughanem was sentenced to three years in federal prison, while Khaled and Adham appear to be awaiting sentencing.

The fact that Luke Wenke thinks the Abughanems are innocent is beyond abhorrent, especially since they’ve all been convicted. But he clearly enjoys hanging out with fellow inmates who are accused of harming women and children, and he seems disturbingly tolerant of their alleged crimes.

Not only are we hearing about the owner of Pharaoh’s strip club’s private defense lawyer getting paid now through the public defender’s office in the greatest example of insider favoritism circle jerking I’ve ever heard of (we hear his name is Peter or Chris Grazi and that the NY Libertarian Party’s Chase Tkach/Molly Smash of Orleans County wants to interview him on her Pornhub channel raising money for his commissary and asking him who he’s related to), but now I hear on these recorded phone lines that there is a website dedicated to every letter I’ve sent this court concerning me about my safety and/or my time. How are they getting these letters? Who in this court is giving them out or are these letters truly on PACER? So when I inform the court about [enemy inmate] and now it’s on a website, I’m still being called a public safety threat by a bunch of pseudo science shit psychiatrists when I now have to fear for my safety from [enemy inmate]’s Baltimore MD Black Panthers? Is that who was involved in the 2024 police report on the break in of my house as reported by my grandmother Cindy [last names]? Do I need to go live in Witness Protection forever like former North Carolina Libertarian state committee member Benjamin [Ryan] apparently does as Katie [last name] told me over a burner number in 2023 saying “witsec”?

I sent nothing to the court from Oklahoma the second time I was there so it’s not ‘contempt of court’ to Plead The Fifth to anymore pseudoscience psychiatrists that may come my way. That March 2024 UB report is absolutely there, maybe even on PACER where this new website about me my father Kevin [last name] knows about, so stop blaming me since this new demand for the UB paperwork on me makes my 2 months at Chicago MCC pointless.
